My bubble rice stock make me so stress!! Since eid last year, I couldn't managed to finish it.. Until its almost spoilt!!!so, in order to relieve a bit of my headache (which now really in high level!!), so, I'm surfing a few website n blog for a reason...to find the most interesting recipe using bubble rice as main ingredients and yet, didn't use choc bar at all!! Because most of the recipe presenting some sort of choc cluster-like recipe...I had made it a few time..just wanted to try the other recipe of course... Then finally I found a recipe from one website..which I think very nice..
The recipe was like a honey cornflakes but the mixture has to been caramelized... So, the taste will be a bit bitter but still tiptop!!! Wallaa!!!! Well...this is the recipe if u wanna try it ur self..
Bubble rice caramel
Ingredients
100g butter
6 Tbsp. sugar
4 heaped tsp. honey (optional...if u didn't put it,the bars will be more crunchy)
5 cups rice cereal
Procedure
Add the first three ingredients to a large saucepan (large enough to later add the rice cereal) and melt over a medium heat
Bring the mixture to the boil and allow it to turn over for about four minutes or until the mixture starts to turn brown. Stir occasionally
Remove from the heat and add the rice cereal. Stir well to evenly mix everything together
Press the mixture into a lined tin (buttered)
Before it sets too hard, cut into even squares.
