KIK Convention PIS 2013

Finally, it was over.. Since last year, this is one of task that make most of us (at my office) worried, scared, excited(is it??) and so forth.. its begin with a division of group among us at JKM, having an inter competition and from seven, three of us had been selected to represent JKM in this convention. The other department also participated and there are seven group altogether battled for represented PIS in KIK Convention South Zone in this coming March.

Well, my group, Clic United was lead by Zinvi Fu had choose to establish online warning letter as our KIK projects. While the other two group from JKM established a gadget for welding and fluid mechanics...(some sort like that!!!i didnt knew much actually..huhu). We had six members actually but two of us had a meeting today...k.pah n hubby, poji...

Zinvi was very ambitious leader and he made us also very ambitious like him!!!Well, we have to follow our leader right??Even at first, we tend to just passed the 'request' from our head of department, but its all gone after we saw a presentation slide that had been made by him!!! Then, suddenly we got a power to made it success!!! ( ????? )

After our presentation for today was over, we had some confident that maybe we can make it.. We didnt expected to win, but at least, in a top three or five list!!!But its all ruined when the MC announced the result!!! We are one of the lowest group among the rest!!! huh.. how come it had happened? Plus, we lose with a group that got a lot of negative comments from jury... So frustrated...FYI, our jury is from MPC, a corporate company who responsible in KIK Convention.. We a bit wondered about the marking scheme but then, no one had a time to ask them about it.. Well, its ok, its alright...Everything had written...Just accepted it as a lesson.. Next time, dont give a big hope..huhu...well, thats our bads...hoping for something that mmmmm....hard to explained baa...huhu

Visit from Prof. Jang (visiting lecturer from UTM)

This morning, my Head of Programme, Mr. Naning had asked us (me & my officemate) to accompany him entertained a visiting lecturer from Korea Polythecnic 2. He actually been attached at UTM for four month since last November and will return to his country on this 2nd February. Today was a day that he planned to visit PIS especially at Mechanical Engineering Department.

He arrived at 2pm with a staff from UTM and wanna make a short presentation regarding his job and his experience here. So we prepared an equipment for it immediately and gathered as much as lecturer to listen for it. even though it was spontaneous request from him, but we managed to handle it successfully.

It's was quite hard actually to understand his English conversation but we try our best to respond it. luckily we have Halim who a die hard fan of all Korean stuffs, he was the most responsive audience if the rest fell like a bit 'blur'....???

Prof. Jang already service for 33 years and he is 60 years old.. But he didnt looks that old right? he has a friends at UTM who always went to Korea, and from that, he was interested to come here, gaining some experience and share his knowledge with a UTM students..

He is an expert in design engineering especially in UG NX software. He insisted to look after our CADCAM lab and of course, we have the expertise in that field, the one and only, Mr. Salim.. He also requested Mr. Salim to go UTM taking some note regarding UG NX before he going back to Korea next month.. So nice prof is it?

After he visited our lab, we had a high tea at kafeteria. Before he came back to UTM, on behalf our Director, Mr.Naning gave Prof a sourvenir from PIS which had been prepared by our PRO, Mr. Baniamin..

It so nice that we had a visit from him and gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration in order to enhance ourself to become a better person in a future..

Sibu Island.. Last day

I woke up early this morning to snap a sunrise pic at the beach.. i went out at 6.30 am alone and waited at swiming pool until a bit brighter (swear to God, it was still dark!!)
When almost 7am, i think it was a best time to wait for sun at the beach.. and i keep waiting n waiting n waiting until 8.30am..but it didnt appeared!!!how sad.. the cloud was so thick today.. I have to check out by 10am and didnt have breakfast yet.. hubby n kids already at coffee house and i just leaved the beach with full of sadness..huhu..
My kids had their last jumped in swimming pool with hubby and i went to chalet for packing our stuffs. 9.30 am, we are ready to come down, check out and waited for ferry to went back Tanjung Leman.
Suprisingly, there are a fisherman who just came back from his night fishing and got a big fish!! So big and a lot of it!! it was a catch for three day's fishing.. he and his 'fishs' will also went to Tanjung Leman with us and he will sold the fish at the market immediately..
Well...just to wrap up our journey...Sibu Island is quite an amazing island and u wont be regret at all. the staff was very nice, warm hearted and helpful... Fully recommended to come here!!!!

Sibu Island..Day 2

Woke up at morning with a fresh air..so good feeling..after having our breakfast at coffee house,we went to beach..from the bright ambience, it looks like that a best time to jump in but the red flag showed that it was dangerous.. no one was allowed...the other option was the only...swimming pool,indeed!!!Never mind..as long as the kids happy, then its ok then..
Having a break until evening, then hubby went out for 'take away' our dinner from coffee house..and he gave me a surprise..body massage from spa at 8pm..tq dear...
After my spa session was over, we walked for nightseeing..and again, have a night drinks..plus pizza!!!warghhh!!!my diet programme not effective here..i swear i will remove all fats that i was gained in this three days here!!!Herbalife....here i come!!!!huhu...

Sibu Island... Day 1

Well, here i am..At Sibu Island, Johor. My hubby need a vacation as a reward for him after struggling in his part time study last year..me too..i also need a peaceful holiday to reduce my stress and forget about the list of tasks at office???? whatever...
We went to Jeti Tanjung Leman and must reached there before 11.30 am to catch a ferry trip.if not, we have to wait until 4pm for the next trip!!hah...just nightmare... well, we managed to do so and have a 'safe' journey to island although the wave was a bit heavy (as told by ferry driver)..the trip taken about 30minutes and suprisingly, me, my kids and hubby didnt got 'ferrylag' at all!!!haha!!! what a relieved!!!
We had been welcomed warmly by island's staff... with a welcome's drink and mini singing performance...what a nice first jugdement is it???
Then, we just check in and went to our chalet for rest..Along the way to our chalet, there is one more suprise....they just let go a few peacock and deer freely!!not any rope on the body!!!so amazing...and they looks very nice, tame and friendly to visitors..
After having a rest for a moment, we went out for sightseeing..well, actually, my hubby brought our kids to swimming pool as they insisted to go there!!! I'll stayed at chalet to clean up the mess after a war between my two kids over!!! huh!!!
The beach had so nice ambience..peaceful, calm and so forth... u will never found it in Pasir Gudang of course..didnt managed to bath in yet...well, tomorrow???it a must!!!

Congratulation abah..

Today was a super duper exhausted day to me..from early in the morning until 3pm...then I managed to sit on my chair at office...Huhu...everything have to be done like no tomorrow for me to settle it..my clic had said that my face look like squid today...hahaha!!!i also dint have any idea why they compared my face with it...
Then,while settled one of my job, I received a message from hubby saying that he got a good result even not as better as he expected..but still can hold a dean list cert.. Congrats to u anyway...
As a gift, I'll treat him and of course with my two kids for dinner.. Right after I came back from office, I fetch them at home and went to Papa chop mama grill as attached in the pic.. I had remembered he said in a few weeks ago that he wanna brought us there... That's why I'll choose that place for our dinner today..
The foods was quite ok to me..price still affordable...condition still can be improved (no air cond!!!) and the service still in fair level..I'll ordered grill salmon set, hubby ordered lamb chop set and banana split for sumaiyah..syaimaa???just played around even I already ordered drumstick set for her...ish3...well, this place still in my list and very hope that next time, everything will be better...

KIK gathering team

Our team, clic united was chosen as one of group which will represent JKM in Konvensyen KIK PIS 2013 in 31 January 2013. So, our beloved leader, zinvi fu, was so generous to treat us for lunch at Restoren Rahmat Kg Pasir Putih. Zinvi,lim,k.pah,poi,k.yati s and me had ate like there's no tomorrow!! The menu had been selected by k.yati n me & we passed to k.pah for ordering (we a bit late, k.pah already there..so we just like roger & out!!!huhu)..
So many things to eat right??tq boss!!!we love u!!!
That amoi celebrated her belated birthday also....no need to mentioned how old is she ok...so sensitive to her!!!hahaha...

Severely congested..huh..

This week, pasir gudang's weather seem in a dark mood..raining all day long... Since last Saturday until today, sun was so 'afraid' to appear and our laundry became like a mountain be coz of it..it's okla...that's what we called nature rules..when Allah will, it will happens..
The story that I wanna share is about the congested traffic that we faced last morning during our way to office. As pic I had been attached, the phenomenon seems so unusual..normally the car will only stuck at about 1km from main road.. But this time, it stuck from the beginning of my home road!!its about 2++ km from main road...so stressful..even sumaiyah keep asking me...mama,when will we reached school??its been so long..not like usual..and for sure, my punchcard getting 'red' today...what to do right??huhu...

As request by k.pah... Pop cake recipe..yun's version

Last Friday, I had baked a choc cake but unfortunately, the texture turned a bit dry and less sweet.. Even my hubby don't want to eat it!!!so sad.. When I touched the cake, it became fragile-like..so I was thinking to make a pop cake with it..but using my own version..according to what stock I already have in my kitchen cabinet...Huhu..
Then the pop cake became as a pic I had attached.. I gave to k.pah as she accompany me last Sunday at office and the remaining cake, I brought it at office this morning.. K.pah said her kids loved it and she requested for the recipe... Then, this is the recipe..check it out..

A) Choc cake (crumbed it using ur fingers@forks@anything)

B) Cream cheese frosting
-250g cream cheese (room temperature)
-1/2 cup butter
-2-3 cup icing sugar (just blend a sugar,icing sugar quite expensive to me..Huhu)
-a few drops of lemon juice@orange sunquick@any sour juice (to avoid nausea taste of
cream cheese...it's optional..it's ok if u don't want to put it)
-1 tbsp vanilla extract

**beat the butter and cream cheese until it blend. Add vanila extract. Then slowly add a sugar
into the batter until it well blend. Done!!!

Add B in a small amount into A until u can make it like a ball. Let the ball cooled in a freeze for about 1-2 hours or until its hard enough. If u want, u can put a stick at each ball so that it will become like lollipop. Dip the ball with choc topping and roll it into chopped almond@choc rice@color rice@nestum@cereal@anything u want..make sure that u roll it before the topping get hardened.. Let it cool again and it's ready to eat..yummy!!!

C) Chocolate topping

Version 1:
1 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup condensed milk (u can add or reduce the amount according to ur taste)
1/8 cup of oil/butter (about 2-3 tbsp)

**** mix cocoa powder with condensed milk and stir it on a heat. Keep stir it by using whisk
until it blend well. Then, add butter/oil n keep stir. U may taste it and can add some
more ingredients according to ur taste. Let it cool and its ready to use.

Version 2 :
250g whipping cream
400g dark choc bar
20g butter
40g liquid glucose (optional)

****double boiled whipping cream n dark choc bar until it become fully liquid-like
texture..then immediately add butter n glucose and stir a bit..let it cooled and its ready
to use.

P/S: this two version of choc topping can be used in more than 2 cake.. U can decrease the amount according to ur needs..
